For Golf One And Done pool players, the relevant PGA schedule often starts in January or February, and ends with the FedEx Playoff events in late August.
Starting with the first “Signature Event” of 2024, the Sentry Tournament of Champions, here is a summary of all events on the calendar through the TOUR championship.
We list 2024 prize purse info for most events. The Majors do not announce the prize purses until closer to each event date, so the number we list here is last year’s prize purse info, though you should expect those numbers to go up slightly when they are announced.

PGA Schedule Notes For One And Done Players
Here are some additional notes on this year’s tournaments that may be of interest.
- Most of the “Signature Events” are now limited field with no cuts, and all of those have the $20 million purse and $3.6 million to 1st.
- The three player-hosted “Signature Events”–Genesis, Arnold Palmer, and Memorial–do have a cut and feature $4 million to 1st.
- Pebble Beach replaces the Phoenix Open as a “Signature Event” with the $20 million overall purse this year
- With that move for Pebble Beach, it is a more limited field event (80 pros and 80 amateurs) and only pros will play on the weekend. It will also now only feature two courses on Thursday and Friday, as the Monterey Peninsula Country Club is cut from the rotation.
- As with past years, the Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines will begin on Wednesday with a final round on Saturday, so as to be done before NFL Championship Game Sunday.
- The Cognizant Classic is the same tournament that was mostly recently known as The Honda Classic.
- The Mexico Open moves up in the calendar, to February from April last year.
- The Texas Children’s Houston Open has moved to late March, after last being played in November of 2022 for last season.
- The WGC Match Play event is no more.
- The Zurich Classic of New Orleans is a team event that is not featured in most One And Dones, but we list it here just in case.
- The Myrtle Beach Classic is a new tournament, staged on the same weekend as the Wells Fargo Championship.
- The Olympics will take place in early August, which is why there is a one-week gap in the calendar before the Wyndham Championship and the FedEx Playoffs.
- The TOUR Championship may not be included in many One And Done pools (or they may reduce the point structure since the value is so high), but we also list that here.
