Setting Specific Multiple Pick Weeks in My Pool Picks

New for 2024, you can now indicate the specific weeks you will need multiple picks in your survivor pool.

Starting in 2024, if you are setting up a survivor pool that requires any multiple-pick weeks, you can now designate which specific weeks will have 2 or 3 picks required.

In the past, you would answer which week your multiple picks began, but the pool logic and pool setup did not further differentiate between pools that had multi-pick weeks for the rest of the year, once they began, and those that had specific weeks requiring multi-picks, but where the pool could fluctuate on which weeks it was required.

You will only see this change if you select “Yes” to the “Does Your Pool … Have Multiple Pick Weeks?” question during the pool setup process.

Designating Your Multi-Pick Weeks

After you have answered questions on your pool’s size, the number of entries you are playing, the cost per entry, and other details, you will see a page popup that looks like this if you answered “Yes” that your pool has multiple pick weeks.

It will display a different row for Weeks 1-18, and you can select whether your pool requires 1, 2, or 3 picks in each week. (The default is set to “1,” so you shouldn’t have to change the week if only one pick is required.)

You can also designate whether the multiple pick week is definitely happening, or is merely possible. You can sometimes see the latter situation in large pools where the multiple picks occur if not enough entries have been eliminated by that point, as a way of eliminating more entries and reducing the odds of a big pot split.

We will still ask you to confirm the correct number of picks you need, if you have set up a multi-pick pool, when you return each week to get your picks for the upcoming week of games.
