Quick Picks Feature Tutorial

Our Quick Picks page in Pick'em Picks provides 24 different sample pick sets for some common pool types and sizes.

We encourage you to get your customized pool pick recommendations specific to your pool rules. We do have a page, though, which allows for you to quickly see some sample recommendations for some common pool types.

The Quick Picks page has 24 different pick sets that you can view, named after illustrious players from football history, from Bart Starr to Ryan Leaf.

Here is an overview of the types of pick sets you will find there.

NFL Pools- Game Winner

The NFL Pools, Game Winner Picks have quick recommendations for Season Prize Pools and for three different sizes of Weekly Prize Pools. You can read about strategy differences in Season Prize strategy and Weekly Prize strategy, as well as how Pool Size impacts strategy.

NFL Pools – Game Winner + Confidence Points

The second group of Quick Picks is related to Confidence Points pools, and also has different sets of recommendations depending on whether it is for a Season Prize pool, or a Weekly prize pool, with various pool sizes.

ESPN College Football Pools – Game Winner + Confidence Points

The third group of Quick Picks is related to ESPN’s Confidence Point pools. These pools require entries to rank teams from a set of 10 games during each regular season college football week.

Yahoo College Football Pools – Game Winner Only

The fourth Quick Picks set is related to Yahoo’s College Football pools. These pools give fixed points per game, and require entrants to pick 25 selected games each regular season week.

Yahoo College Football Pools – Game Winner + Confidence

The next set of Quick Picks is for those in a Yahool College Football pool that uses confidence points. Like the other Yahoo college football pools, this one also uses 25-game sets each week.

Yahoo NFL Pools – Spread Pools

Two Quick Pick sets are devoted to Yahoo pools that use spreads to make picks. One is for fixed point pools and the other for confidence points pools.

Yahoo College Pools – Spread Pools

The final two Quick Picks sets are for spread pools on Yahoo for picking college football games. These pools use 25 college games each regular season weekend, and there is a separate Quick Pick set for both fixed point and confidence point pools.
