Weekly Wins History

Some customers think that our picks to win weekly prizes (NOT end of season prizes) look pretty crazy. To increase the odds to win a weekly prize, we often recommend picking lots of upsets or unpopular picks. In most weeks, the results aren't good.

It’s all by design. Our weekly prize pick recommendations are based on extensive research, and in the long run they work very well. However, you need to have the patience and confidence to stick with them week after week.

We started asking customers to report their weekly prize wins in 2014. Since then, whenever we have recommended using our weekly prize picks for a specific week, our customers have won a weekly prize 9.5% of the time, compared to an expectation of only 5.4%.

In other words, based on reported data, customers using our weekly prize picks have won weekly prizes 80% more often than you would expect for the average entry in their pool. Additionally, 32% of customer pools had at least one weekly win.

Notes

In the tables above, “Weeks” and “Pools” refer to the number of times we suggested picks intended to help our customers win a weekly prize.

We ask our customers if they won a weekly prize the previous week when they come to get their picks the following week. As a result, we do not have any data regarding customer wins in the final weeks of their pools (usually Week 17 or 18 for NFL pools and Week 14 for NCF pools).

Many of our customers play in pools that have both weekly prizes AND end of season prizes. This page only includes data for weekly prize wins, in weeks where we specifically recommended that a customer use our weekly prize picks.
