The Splash Survivor World Championship offers a chance at $21 million purse, and we are here to breakdown the best options for Week 1.

Aaron Rodgers and Pittsburgh as a Week 1 Survivor consideration in the Splash World Championship?

Splash Sports has launched the Survivor World Championship, with a $21 guaranteed prize pool. You can read all about the contest details here.

At PoolGenius, we have also created a Splash Survivor World Championship Picks product and tools specifically for the contest and its large double-pick week format, which includes six different weeks where contestants will have to pick an extra team.

This article will serve as your guide leading up to the Week 1 start of Circa Survivor 2026, with breakdowns of the teams we expect to draw the most picks, links to YouTube strategy videos, and strategy discussion for Week 1 picks. We’ll continue updating this article through the pick deadline.

Splash Survivor World Championship Size and Projected Winners

As we head toward the contest deadline (Sunday, September 13 at 1 p.m. ET, before Sunday kickoff of Week 1), the contest has just under 11,000 entries on Thursday. To fill, a max of 22,700 entries can enter.

That means we are currently in overlay territory as we approach the weekend, and see just how many will join.

Any estimate on the number of winners will ultimately depend on where the contest total size closes. At PoolGenius, we do have a tool that estimates the weekly elimination rates and projected number of winners.

In the “Popularity Projections” tool, if you click on “Week by Week Summary” you currently see the following:

Week by Week Projections for the Splash Survivor World Championship

Right now, our projection would be about 5 different winners, if the contest fills to capacity. However, you can also see that the expected number of entries remaining drops below 50 by the end of Week 14, and anything can happen when a pool gets to a small number where a couple of key picks can win wipe out the pool.

Get your edge for the 2026 season

Twenty-four picks, six double pick weeks, and $21 million on the line. You need a plan for the season, not a read on Sunday.

For contest-specific pick popularity, weekly survival projections, common pair analysis, and the Season Planner and Optimal Path tools, see the PoolGenius Splash Survivor World Championship picks page.
