AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am: Golf One and Done Picks Strategy (2026)
The Pebble Beach One and Done Picks article takes a look at top options for the first Signature Event of 2026.
by Jason Lisk - Feb 9, 2026

Fresh off a win, Justin Rose heads to Pebble Beach, where he and other veteran golfers have had success.
Here we go with our AT&T Pebble Beach One and Done picks, and this event marks the first Signature Event of the 2026 season. We have 80 golfers competing in a limited-field event that features all of our top-ranked PGA Tour players.
Scottie Scheffler leads the way in the betting odds, as he is a threat to win every week. Even last time out, when he started with an over-par round, he fought all the way back and was just one stroke behind by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, Rory McIlroy will make his season debut at an event that he won a year ago.

AT&T Pebble Beach One and Done Picks Strategy: Purse Info
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-AM has a total prize purse of $20,000,000, with $3,600,000 going to the first-place winner.
This is a no-cut Signature Event, which means that it has a higher purse, but ranks behind the three player-hosted Signature Events, as well as the Players Championship, Masters, and U.S. Open in first-place prize.
While it is the first big event, you do want to balance it by considering who you’ll want to save for some of those other top-tier purses.
If you want to see where this tournament’s purse ranks in your specific PGA One and Done pool, you can set up your pool entry in our Golf One and Done Picks product.

Here are a few notable highlights for the 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am field:
- 80 golfers are in the field. They will tee off across multiple courses during the first two rounds, paired with 80 amateurs/celebrities. They will then all finish the tournament over the weekend.
- Rory’s Debut – Part Deux: Last year, Rory McIlroy made his season debut here and won the event (after doing the same the year prior and finishing 66th). He, along with Tommy Fleetwood and Shane Lowry, will be making their first appearance on the PGA Tour this year after starting in Dubai.
- Chris Gotterup stays hot. Chris Gotterup won for the second time this year on Sunday, and now has three wins and seven top 10 finishes in his last 12 starts on Tour. He had zero Top 10s in his previous 30 tournament appearances before this run.
- Justin Rose is a past winner with a recent win too. Rose won two weeks ago at the Farmers Insurance Open and also won here at Pebble Beach in 2023. Expect him to be a popular pick.
- Other winners in the field. Besides McIlroy and Rose, we also have Wyndham Clark, Tom Hoge, Daniel Berger, Nick Taylor, and Jordan Spieth as past winners at Pebble Beach.
