We’d be crazy to guarantee that or set that expectation.
Golf One and Done pools involve more skill than pure luck, but they’re still high-variance contests. A season can swing on one missed cut, one surprise winner, or a week where half the pool lands on the same “obvious” pick.
Even using our Golf One and Done Picks tools, you shouldn’t expect to win any single pool every year. The math is simple: if you’re an average competitor in a 25-person pool, you’d expect to win about once every 25 seasons.
What we’re trying to do is improve those odds over the long run by upgrading your process. In One and Done, the edge isn’t only “who’s most likely to play well this week.” It’s also when to use each golfer, when to differentiate, and how to balance upside vs safety based on your pool’s incentives.
For the 2026 PGA season, we’re building on two seasons of Golf One and Done Picks. We’ve continued enhancing the product with pick grades, popularity/leverage context, and planning views, plus an easy-to-read dashboard that pulls key weekly data points into one place so you’re not spending hours researching.
We also survey subscribers after each season. In those surveys, 35% reported finishing in the money in 2024, and 43% in 2025. Over many seasons, leaning on a data-driven, repeatable process is often the difference between rarely cashing and finding yourself in position for a prize.
That doesn’t mean you’ll cash every year, but it does mean you’re giving yourself a real edge if you stick with it and keep a long-term perspective.
