QB Jayden Daniels to Start For Commanders
QB Jayden Daniels will return to the starting lineup for the Washington Commanders on Sunday against the Minnesota Vikings, per head coach Dan Quinn and multiple reports. Daniels has been sidelined since dislocating his left (non-throwing) elbow in Week 9, but he logged full practices this week and has now been officially cleared to start.
Before this news, the spread sat around Vikings -2. After Daniels was confirmed in, the spread swung to Commanders -1.5. In spread pools that lock lines early and still list Washington as an underdog, that creates meaningful line value.
On the other hand, in Game Winner pools, Washington is already being picked about 61% of the time, so there isn’t a huge contrarian edge there. You’re gaining some closing line value from the QB news, but not much leverage against the field on the straight-up result.
Of course, these pick percentages can change, so refer to the NFL Pick’em Data Grid for the latest numbers.

College Football Conference Championship Value Picks
We have nine Conference Championship games on Friday and Saturday. Let’s highlight the value opportunities across those games.
North Texas (-3) at Tulane, AAC Championship, Friday
North Texas is the favorite in the title game, but the public is slightly favoring Tulane at home here 52% to 48% in pick rate. So there’s value on the favorite here.
Kennesaw State (-2.5) at Jacksonville State, Conference USA Championship, Friday
The public is breaking even heavier toward underdog Jacksonville State, which did beat Kennesaw State 35-26 at home in the regular season. Only 23% are picking Kennesaw in this one, as the school has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way in its ascent to FBS in the last 15 years. That means some value for those of you with no emotional attachment to the game.
